Christopher is portrayed as a character who is very logical and analytical in Mark Haddon’s novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and who looks for consistency and truth in his surroundings. Christopher exhibits a great desire for predictability and order, which moulds his worldview and affects his decision-making through his thoughts, deeds, and interactions with others.

Throughout the play, it is clear that Christopher is obsessed with truth and order. He is extremely analytical, meticulous, and frequently obsesses about patterns and procedures. He insisted on eating the same things every day and sticking to the same timetable, for instance.
